The Prayer Ministry Vision:

For St John’s to be a house of worship, a house of praise and a house of prayer. (Mk 11:1, Isaiah 56:7)

Mission Statement:

Our purpose is to encourage and support all members of St John’s to communicate confidently, joyfully and intimately with God through prayer. We will pray, teach and motivate others to pray and provide opportunities for our members to be inspired by the Holy Spirit to worship, praise and pray to our God.

All our prayer ministry members understand the importance of and adhere to the principles of confidentiality. Anything that is shared will be treated as confidential.

The Prayer Ministry Consists of:

Monthly prayer meetings held on different nights of the week at church. These meetings will pray for each other, the people of St John’s, ministries of St John’s, the community, current issues, and for the world.

Emergency Prayer is for anyone who wishes prayer at anytime. There is an email list and a phone chain of around 30 people willing and ready to pray for you and your request. Please contact Sue Bastow in the office 9521 4314 or via EMAIL, or Jean Blott on 9521 5257.
