Children at St John’s

Our Mission:

To create a safe space for children to learn more about Jesus in age-appropriate ways and to have fun whilst doing it. That’s why all of our leaders are carefully selected and trained in Safe Ministry before leading groups and undergo additional training to help them become better teachers of God’s word.

SRE – Run through local public schools

Our team of accredited SRE teachers have the privilege of teaching Special Religious Education on a weekly basis in five of our local public schools. As a church we are responsible for the coordination and oversight of the Protestant SRE program.

    During the Holidays

Children’s programs for primary-aged children run throughout the year, including an annual Ambassadors Soccer Camp in April and holiday clubs. Information is posted on our church events page when these are organised. These events are a fun way to allow children spend time with friends, introduce them to Jesus, and grow in a relationship with God.
