Joanne Smyth

Joanne Smyth

SRE - Kirrawee High School

Joanne teaches Scripture to Yr 7 and 8 students at Kirrawee High School. She loves to open up the Bible with students, and is continually surprised by their insights and observations, even from those unfamiliar with the Bible – God speaks through His word! She also loves discussing life’s big questions with teenagers – ‘How did the world come to be? Is there a purpose to my life? Is there life after death?’ recognising that the Christian worldview (and most especially the gospel!), offers hope in the confusion of the many secular voices young people are exposed to. Joanne is married to Matt and is Mum to three high schoolers.
