SRE - The Jannali High School
Amy studied a Bachelor of Theology and now works at The Jannali High School, teaching Scripture to students in years 7-10. St John’s Sutherland partners with a number of other churches in the area to support this valuable youth ministry.
The Jannali Board of Christian Education liaises with school management to ensure quality, professional SRE is delivered in a supportive school environment, and secure funding and prayer support from local churches.
Kylie serves at Johannesburg Bible College, which equips Christians to bring the message of Jesus to others. She teaches, trains, mentors and encourages the female students to serve Jesus in their churches, families and communities.
Lyndal and Ross Webb
Ross and Lyndal have been serving in bible translation through Wycliffe and SIL since 1982 in PNG and Vanuatu. They are currently serving as ‘Missionaries in Residence’, preparing material to teach again in Vanuatu when the borders open, and waiting for the right ducks to line up to get another Vanuatu language New Testament published. They enjoy spending time with their two adult sons and daughter in-laws, and 8 grandchildren – when they can; 5 are in Broome!
Anglicare Prison Chaplain
Seti is the full time Anglicare Justice Chaplain at Long Bay Correctional Centre, Matraville, having been in the role for over two years now. Serving in Long Bay hospital and remand, his role as chaplain involves sharing the gospel of Jesus with inmates, teaching them the bible in weekly chapel, leading weekly bible study groups and ongoing pastoral care. Chaplaincy at Long Bay also includes reaching out to custodial staff as well.
Leana & Andrew Millar
The Millar family have been living in Northern Spain since 2005. Their heart is to be a light in and through all they do, through their English teaching business, involvement in a youth outreach project and through their seekers bible study group. As Jesus lived and ministered amongst the people of his time the Millars choose to live and minister amongst the Spanish people in Northern Spain.
Berala Anglican Church
Jo-Ann is the cross-cultural ministry worker at St James Berala Anglican Church in Western Sydney. Much of her time is spent helping asylum seekers, refugees and migrants learn English, tackle everyday problems and get access to the resources they need. Her greatest desire is to see people from all backgrounds become disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, grow in faith and begin to serve others in the context of a loving church community.
Youthworks Outdoor Education
Chris works for Anglican Youthwork’s Christian Outdoor Education team whose leaders are highly trained, qualified, and experienced not just in outdoor skills but also in transforming teachable moments into life-shaping, faith-developing experiences. They combine adventure education with authentic biblical teaching to create life changing experiences for the student they lead. With Christian instructors having a biblical Christian worldview is a fully integrated part of their programs they run with school groups. At Youthworks Christian outdoor education they are passionate about working with you to influence and challenge young adventurers physically, relationally and spiritually.
Youth With a Mission
Jess is currently serving as a missionary with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in Perth. YWAM has a strong focus on evangelism, mercy ministries and discipling young people. In her current role she is focussed on training and discipleship and is part of a team that facilitates the running of discipleship courses. The team provides administrative support, develops course content and writes assignments. Their heart is to see people trained in their practical skills as well as their character and love for Jesus, so that they can bring transformation to nations around the world.
Nicolle & Andy Donaldson
Power to Change
Andy and Nicolle serve with Power to Change to help people encounter Jesus today, impact Australia tomorrow and reach the nations for eternity. They are based at the University of Sydney, seeking to give university students the opportunity to hear and see the Gospel lived out in a meaningful way, and then to be trained and equipped with the heart and skills to share the good news of Jesus with others for the rest of their lives.
